Gregg Hensel5 Stars Out Of 5July 13, 2007Gregg HenselThis review was written for The Supremacy of God in Preaching, rev. ed..This book changed the way I preach. It freed me from the tyranny of the "felt needs" approach to preaching in order to focus on God as the One who is to be the object of our worship and source of our needs. This little book is spiritual dynamite and will revitalize your preaching and teaching ministry.

Chris Momose5 Stars Out Of 5January 28, 2008Chris MomoseThis review was written for The Supremacy of God in Preaching, rev. ed..I believe every preacher and Bible teacher should read this book and think deeply about the points John Piper emphasizes. SeitoBrooklynAge: 35-44Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5God is supreme!October 3, 2015SeitoBrooklynAge: 35-44Gender: MaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I have to be honest, the book is more of a 4.5 and not a 5, but I dont have the option to give half stars. Why a 4.5? There was a little too much on Jonathan Edwards, which normally wouldn't be bad, but I wanted more of a perspective from Piper himself and not Edwards. However, as Edwards is his hero in the faith I can bypass it. The strength of the book is in chapters 9 and 10 where Piper really excells in bringing the title together. Maybe I am a little biased as Piper is my favorite Preacher outside of my mentor in my walk on becoming a pastor, but it was great, especially the quote he provided by John Calvin on page 123, that was pure gold and brought the rest of the chapter together nicely. Maybe you should take my review with a grain of salt being as Piper can do almost no wrong in my eyes, but I believe it was a masterpiece.
