KavRCanadaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Awesome read!October 15, 2013KavRCanadaGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Oh my goodness but I LOVE the McKenna clan and that means I LOVE the Alaskan Courage series! I get a thrill just knowing that there are still more stories to come because I can't get enough of these characters. Pettrey has brought them to life and each one has captured my heart to the point that I feel like I'm reader-stalking them when I devour each book. Yes, I'm that much of a groupie! Bordering on creating a McKenna Clan fan club. I haven't been this attached to a fictional family since the O'Malleys. :-)
And the suspense is riveting...exasperating...breath-stealing. Intrepid Darcy kept giving me heart palpitations! That girl is like a dog with a bone when she's hot on the trail of trouble. With blinders on and no sense of self-preservation. It's no wonder Gage was a tad bit taciturn. The poor man has my sincere sympathies. It's a wonder we both didn't come out of Stranded with gray hair!
Rich characterization and realistic dialogue made this read an emotional one for me. I love the way Pettrey's characters aren't afraid to share their love of the Savior. Their faith is a seamless part of who they are and the author has written a beautiful reckoning with God scene that is gritty and real and uplifting all at the same time.
If you haven't guessed by now -- I think Stranded belongs on the top of every romantic suspense lovers TBR pile. -
Terry, OHOHAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5great seriesOctober 11, 2013Terry, OHOHAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have loved this series. Book 3 is definitely as good as the first two. If you are planning to read this series they really should be read in order. We met Darcy in book 2 and find her reunited with the McKenna family through her work. Gage and Darcy were attracted to each other in book 2. They tried to ignore that attraction but when they see each other again the attraction is stronger than ever. Gage trusts no woman and is very bitter towards God because of his past. This book is as suspense filled as the first two in the series. The author has a way of making you care for each character. I was in this book and felt everyone's hurts, fears, faults and the need for Christ in their lives. I loved this book and eagerly await book 4.

Kathy Trimble5 Stars Out Of 5October 8, 2013Kathy TrimbleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Stranded, Alaskan Courage Series #3 -eBook.I have read all three books in this series, Submerged, Shattered ,and Stranded. I enjoyed all three. The characters are all believable and I found myself hardly able to put them down. Dani Pettrey is a new Author to me and I liked her style of writing. All three are connected, but you can read each one without reading all three, but they are more enjoyable if you read all three. You are able to get the flow of them if you read all three..
