Ha ~ I was so excited when this book arrived in the mail. I could not wait to read it~ after all I am real sure at my age I have figured out just what issues I carry in my pocketbook. My son looks at the book on the counter and says, "Mom~ why do you have this book?"

Now if you get my point~ I took it as a great compliment but as we all know ~ we all have issues.

Sometimes we have trouble forgiving. At times we may feel like God gave us a raw deal when our dreams fall apart. Once in a while our tempers get the best of us and ugly spews out of our mouth before we can say "Damage." Sometimes we have trouble dealing with past hurts and difficult people. Sometimes we are the difficult people.

When we fail to see and address our issues they just become who we are~ feeling comfortable like an old pair of shoes.

When all else fails~ we try to "fix" the broken parts of us in our strength~ until the next time our issue bubbles up once again.

Are you ready to address your issues? I dare you to read the book.

We in reality have the power of Christ that can transform our weakness into strength.

This is a great book and I highly recommend it! The book includes quizzes and personal assessment tools.

So often, the real everyday issues that women face often take a backseat to the bigger issues and complexities of life. This book helps bring a fresh perspective to the challenges that many women face on a daily basis. Nicole Unice brings to the light issues that many women are reluctant to talk about because it might put a crack in the perfect armor that we try to wear. Drawing on a number of Scripture passages, she really helps draw the reader back to a biblical understanding of topics such as control, anxiety, fear, anger, and unforgiveness. It's a great book to go through slowly on your own, but would be even better to go slowly through it with a small group to really digest the book and find accountability as you begin to deal with your own issues. What a treat to read this book!

This book is hitting topics us women deal with daily. It gets to the core of our issues and how to deal with them in order to lead a God centered life and not to allow our fears, insecurities, comparisons get in the way. It's a MUST read! You'll be glad you did!

Humor and life-experience examples give this book punch. Nicole Unice speaks to me where I am. I like her way of expressing herself; she is so intimately acquainted with how women feel and think. The video links are a great bonus feature. The stories told by the author and others are very illustrative, and the Scripture verses are really helpful. There is much to think about, and I see this book as continuing to be useful in my walk.

    She's Got Issues

    by Nicole Unice

"Seriously good news for stressed-out, secretly scared control freaks like us"

"Standing on my porch with a dish towel on one shoulder and a burp cloth on the other, I knew in the deepest part of my soul that this could not be the 'life to the full' that Jesus promised".

Nicole Unice is a Christian counselor, ministry leader, and mom. She lets us know plenty about where she's been and how she came to bring this book to life. She helps us understand where she's coming from, which in turn lets you feel more comfortable when reading the book, almost like she right there talking with you one-on-one.

She explains about who you are, a King or a Pawn; groups in which control, or lack of, places us. Surprisingly, I wasn't the one I thought I was! There are different, dare I say, fractures, layers, to what makes one a King or Pawn.

She helps us figure out why we are the way we are, what got us there, what happens while we are there, and how to deal with it. Not necessarily how to stop or 'fix' it, but how to control it to better suit our needs. And we have the access to the power of Jesus Christ to help us through it!

This 14 chapter (great for study groups) book will walk you through a part of your life that you had no idea needed tweaking.
