Love the book & the teaching approach. But mine didn't have the accompanying CD.

I am enjoying learning Hebrew with this book. It is set up so that almost anyone could use it and successfully learn to read Biblical Hebrew.

A joyful introduction to Hebrew. So far, the best I know (and I know many). I highly recomend it.

I am using this book to teach myself Hebrew. I wish I had a teacher who knew Hebrew to assist me, but the book is helping a lot.I have noticed an error at the end of chapter 1, though. The word for "not" (labeled earlier in the text) is now labeled as "to him". I know the original is the correct translation because the word transliterates to "lo", a prefix that is used often in the book of Hosea to mean "not". I do worry that other errors may exist that I will not have the language skills to detect. However, I am overall very pleased with this book, and I believe that I will be able to learn to read at least Hebrew text with vowel markings after completing it. I may need further studies to learn to read unpointed text. Once I get to that point, I plan to begin learning New Testament Greek, very likely with the companion volume to this one.

Was very disappointed with this product and the Greek version. I'm sure the content was fine, but for someone not knowing any languages, I found the teaching format presumptuous. the CD offered no explanation of the basics or more technical information in the books.
