I felt they were too short, but really loved the stories. Didn't take me long to read them all.

If you havent read books one and two then you have missed a lot of story but you can catch up by reading them later. Ben still wants to marry Sarah and destroy Rand and he almost makes it. There is a whole lot going on in the ninety-six pages of story that you are going to want to read for yourself. Sarah and Rand are such wonderful characters and we get so emotionally involved with them it seems as though we have been friends with them forever. This is a fast-paced read filled with excitement, danger and romance. I recommend this book highly!

This is third book in this series, and be ready for action, from the first page to the end. There are kidnappings, murder, and Indian Wars. Our old friend, sarcastic comment, Ben Croftner is at it again, and this time he has some help.

We rejoin Sarah, Rand, Joel, Amanda and Jacob as they go about their lives at Ft Laramie in our Western Territory of Wyoming. As the story restarts Sarah is trying to go on with her life, now that Rand is engaged to Jessica, and there seems to be a new love interest here.

With all that happens here, and there is a lot, will Ben finally make Sarah his wife? Will Jessica get her way in all that she wants? The questions are about to be answered and more!

What a wonderful conclusion to Rand and Sarah's story! I absolutely love Colleen Coble and this short story is no exception. It picks up where A Heart's Obsession ends and flows seamlessly through until the end. It's an excellent addition to the Journey of the Heart series.

As with all Coble stories, there are twists and turns throughout the entire plot that keep you gripping the edge of your seat until the very end. Tension is mounting around the fort with the Sioux warriors, as well as inside the fort between Rand, Sarah, and Rand's fiance Jessica. Jessica launches a plan to keep Sarah away from Rand for good with the help of Ben Croftner. Can Rand find Sarah before it's too late and will he see that Sarah is the one for him? Find out in this exciting story!

Overall, I loved it. I can't wait to read the next one!
