Dee Henderson in her new book, "Full Disclosure" published by Bethany House takes us into the lives of Paul Falcon and Ann Silver.

From the back cover: Paul Falcon and Ann Silver A Love Story

Ann Silver is a cop's cop. As the Midwest Homicide Investigator, she is called in to help local law enforcement on the worst of cases, looking for answers to murder. Hers is one of the region's most trusted investigative positions.

Paul Falcon is the FBI's top murder cop in the Midwest. If the victim carried a federal badge or had a security clearance, odds are good Paul and his team see the case file or work the murder.

Their lives intersect when Ann arrives to pass a case off her desk and onto his. A car wreck and a suspicious death offer a lead on a hired shooter he is tracking. Paul isn't expecting to meet someone, the kind that goes on the personal side of the ledger, but Ann Silver has his attention.

The better he gets to know her, the more Paul realizes her job barely scratches the surface of who she is. She knows spies and soldiers and U.S. Marshals, and has written books about them. She is friends with the former Vice President. People with good reason to be cautious about who they let into their lives deeply trust her. Paul wonders just what secrets Ann is keeping, until she shows him the John Doe Killer case file, and he starts to realize just who this lady he is falling in love with really is...

"Full Disclosure" is what is known as a treat. Dee Henderson is the master of this genre as she, herself, created it. It has been a while since Ms. Henderson has given us a story but she has more than made up for her absence with this thriller. Let me tell you that if the director Alfred Hitchcock was still alive he would be directing this as this is his kind of story. Who knows maybe Steven Spielberg will give in and direct this. Cat and mouse games, a serial killer, people and events are not quite what they seem to be. "Full Disclosure" is so full of twists and turns and side alleys that, after a while, you don't know what to believe and just give in to the story without guessing what is really going on. This is a superb mystery that rockets along with powerful characters that keep you interested every step of the way. "Full Disclosure" is a very exciting book. Ms.Henderson has batted in a winner and I enjoyed it a lot!

Dee Henderson has written a number of very good books which I have had the pleasure to read. After a 5-year sabbatical from publishing, she has given us Full Disclosure. It seems to me that this book begins more slowly and in a somewhat different style from that which I recall from past reads. The lead character Ann Silver is an extremely complex individual of strong fidelity, strong friendships, and strong faith in God. She has secrets that only a few know. Her life intersects with the lead male character, Paul Falcon, in the investigation or disclosure of information on a cold case involving a notorious Lady Shooter.

This is not a fast paced book, but it is a well written story that is not difficult to follow. Interwoven into the thread are characters from her previous books that not only are revealed as real-people-friends but many are also connected to Paul Falcon.

The story progresses to an ending that is definitely difficult to predict and surely the Full Disclosure is the climax. Another good read from Dee Henderson.

I was as excited to hear that Dee Henderson had a new release coming out as I've been in a while. It's been several years since my sister introduced me to Dee's books and I LOVE a good mystery / thriller.

Full Disclosure did not disappoint! It is full of gripping suspense from page one. The opportunity for FBI agent Paul Falcon to solve a serial killer cold case drops in his lap unexpectedly when the elusive Ann Silver, Midwestern Homicide Investigator, cracks the code in a related mystery case and hands over stunning new evidence. Paul is instantly drawn to Ann, a woman of deep secrets, and the mystery plot unfolds with so many twists, turns, and surprises it kept me guessing until the very end.

I particularly enjoyed the deep character development Dee created... the layers kept peeling back like an onion with continued surprises. It was interesting to analyze how the relationship between Paul and Ann unfolds as well. It is not every day that you read about a relationship begun with purpose - too often you read fiction where they just "happen" to fall in love. I thought that the approach to marriage here was more as it should be - getting to deeply know the other person before blindly jumping into commitment. I loved that Dee mentioned on her website that she is purposefully writing about good relationships.

Full Disclosure was a page turner that kept me up reading late at night. I give it a big thumbs up!

I received an advance reader copy from Bethany House Publishers in exchange for my honest opinions in this review.

I have listened to a few of Dee's books on Audiotape in the past, and enjoyed each one. When given the opportunity to read and review "Full Disclosure", I jumped at the chance. Dee does a beautiful job developing her characters. You can see into their hearts and minds. The main characters Paul and Amy both have a deep and inpenetrable relationship with our Lord. It is apparent their faith guides the decisions they make no matter how minor or major.

I was intrigued and pleasantly surprised at how Dee so expertly intertwined her previous works ever so subtly in this story.

As a puzzle fanatic, I enjoy trying to "solve" the mysteries I read before the author reveals the answers. The story kept me guessing all the way to the end. What at first seemed like a few separate mysteries were intricately and expertly tied together. This is a high quality contemporary crime story that I can't wait to share with my book club.
