Tea MomTurner, OregonAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great story of a man who gave all for his faithDecember 20, 2013Tea MomTurner, OregonAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I had read the book, Bonhoeffer, Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy before I ordered the DVD so I had a background for the movie. If I were to do it again, I would watch the DVD first and then read the book. The book is very intense and fills in all the gaps that the movie leaves out. The DVD is a good introduction to the book.

Steve5 Stars Out Of 5September 30, 2004SteveExcellent movie. Pacifist Bonhoeffer had to determine whether it is morally right to help the resistance in Nazi Germany to assassinate Hitler. Those Christians who stood up for their principles suffered the same fate as those in the concentration camps. Bonhoeffer is a hero to all who resist evil.

Mitchell Road Presbyterian Ch4 Stars Out Of 5August 24, 2009Mitchell Road Presbyterian Chan inspiring story based on one man's encounter with the Nazi machine. Well worth seeing, it does nevertheless leave unanswered some truly important moral and ethical issues. But even unanswered, the questions it raises are worth pondering.
