My son started this book his 8th grade year and would like to continue moving on to the next book for his next year of homeschooling. I made up tests for him after each chapter which involved him matching the words to the proper definitions. He has really enjoyed this study.

This is a really good vocab curriculum. My child finds the stories with each lesson interesting and informative.

It's 20 lessons with practice, then a story with the vocab words being used. There are also review puzzles. These are practical words on grade level that every child should know, not archaic words. This is secular and the series does site evolution as a fact from time to time.

Excellent vocabulary exercises that are simple to include in the school day.
