Wuest used interpretative material based on the Greek text, some original with the author and some selected from other Greek authorities such as Marvin Vincent and Henry Barclay Swete.
The order of the Greek words has been preserved as much as possible so the reader may see where the Greek places the emphasis. Polished diction has been sacrificed in the in interest of clarity and a closer adherence to the style and force of the Greek text.

BibleNut3 Stars Out Of 5Welcome WuestDecember 5, 2014BibleNutQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3Wuest is a decent language resource addition to any serious Bible student's library. The material is accessible and well organized, and offers a wealth of insight into the meanings behind a large number of Koine Greek words found in the New Testament. His personal translation of the Gospels and Epistles is useful for comparative purposes with those of Moffatt, Goodspeed, Phillips, Murdock, Nicoll, Wesley, Robertson, Westcott & Hort, and others.
Only minor issues: Those who can't read the original Greek will find the use of transliteration helpful but those who can may find this same feature annoying. While there is a Scripture index in Volume III the addition of a Word index would've been a handy inclusion.
A Study in the WORD.....5 Stars Out Of 5How do they do this quality for the prices....? I can build a library now...I mean a QUALITY Library!November 12, 2014A Study in the WORD.....Quality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Kenneth Wuest set I ordered is awesome. THE KNOWLEDGE of Mr. Wuest and all the others he gives credit to as well is unbelievable. I did not buy these for his Doctrine I bought them for his more than capable GREEK word study. I am just sorry I never got to study Greek under him..... I have read through 2 of the 4 volumes just to read his writing and getting used to his style. I am 2 years away from my PhD and when I complete this I believe I will look into more intense Greek study. I am looking forward to receiving my Zodhiates Word Study 5 volume set also. Wuest and Zodhiates takes you FAR FAR FAR beyond Strong's!
I can not believe the quality and the PRICE for these books for Wuest or Zodhiates ....here at CB.com
They are the price of some CHEAP workbooks by sadly lessor studied men.
A friend told me about his savings for our class books.....and he was so right!
Great prices .....excellent an knowledgeable customer service reps great shipping prices.....IT IS ALL so very very GOOD!! They give my BUDGET for my BOOK COST for my classes breathing room and it is so easy

Bro JonathanFloridaAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Just bought my third set.January 9, 2014Bro JonathanFloridaAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5You'll enjoy this collection more if you spend an hour or so getting acquainted with the main divisions in the content, which is appallingly unintuitive. Some sticky labels with permanent marker for making tabs will increase your use and enjoyment of these valuable volumes. As a bonus, you get a hard-bound Wuest's N.T. translation (more of a transliteration from the Greek) that's not, to my knowledge, available separately. Advice: just be discerning of where Wuest adds doctrinal interpretation to what God is actually saying. Let the Holy Spirit do that job for you and let Wuest provide insights into what the Greek mind expresses so precisely that English, by comparison, is just plain slovenly and imprecise about saying. In the N.T. volume, I recommend disregarding what Wuest places in [square brackets] i.e., Wuest's dispensational creed. Aside from his creed, I find his scholarly dissection of the Greek extremely enlightening.
KarenAge: 45-54Gender: female2 Stars Out Of 5June 27, 2013KarenAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 2Meets Expectations: 1its not what i expected; its not the quality i expected; i thought all 4 volumes was the new testament, but only one volume is. the others volumes are commentaries. plus the way its organized is VERY difficult to find what you are looking for (uses roman numerals and no verse headings). in the pic it looks blue and nicely bound, but it came as black and cheaply bound, with cheaply printed pages. i could have bought just the bible part for less than ten bucks. oh well, live and learn. the customer service at Christianbooks was awesome, though. They were super helpful and friendly. Loved em!
fred1 Stars Out Of 5as stated by another, very shallowJune 19, 2013fredQuality: 3Value: 2Meets Expectations: 1as stated by another, very shallow- the format is like a novel, rather than verse/exposition/verse/exposition etc.
