Vision is a preferred future. A destination. Vision always stands in contrast to the world as it is. Visioneering, according to bestselling author Andy Stanley, is "a clear mental picture of what could be, fueled by the conviction that it should be." With warm, down-to-earth practicality, Andy Stanley explores the ordinary life of Nehemiah and his God-given vision for accomplishing the extraordinary. He shows how the life of this great ancient visionary, determined to rebuild the ruined walls of Jerusalem, reveals principles that can prepare us to find and follow Gods multifaceted vision for our own lives. Now this bestseller is again available in an attractive, affordable paperback!
Everybody ends up somewhere in life.
You can end up somewhere on purpose!
Visioneering is the engineering of a vision. Its the process one follows to develop and maintain vision. "Vision," writes Andy Stanley , "is a clear mental picture of what could be, fueled by the conviction that it should be."
In the bestselling Visioneering, Stanley builds a compelling case for the necessity of a clear, God-ordained vision for each of the roles of your life. Whether youre a parent with a vision for your children or a CEO pursuing a corporate vision, Visioneering is the perfect tool to help you develop and maintain Gods unique purpose for your life.
"Visioneering is the best book on vision Ive seen. It will put you on track to discovering Gods purpose for your life. In my course "The Vision of the Leader," I quote from Andys book more than any other. Visioneering should be on the bookshelf of every pastor, business leader, and parent in America . I heartily endorse it!"

Story Behind the Book
Andy Stanley, the pastor of more than 15,000, knows a lot of people, and is well aware of the overwhelming and mutual desire nearly every Christian holds to find and fulfill Gods purpose for their lives. This book was written to stir these hearts and move people forward by providing tangible steps to getting from Point A to Point B. "As Christians," states Stanley, "we do not have a right to take our talents, abilities, experiences, opportunities, and education and run off in any direction we please." This book was written to provide a specific plan for going in the right direction. It truly is "Gods blueprint for developing and maintaining personal vision."
LalaAge: 18-24Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Amazing Novel About Your God-Given Vision!September 27, 2013LalaAge: 18-24Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Visioneering was a great novel! It was so inspiring and encouraging in many ways concerning the vision God has placed in my heart!
Andy used the story of Nehemiah as well as some personal stories to show that a God-given vision can go from what it could be to should be. It won't happen though some random miracle, but as Andy points out through the telling of Nehemiah's vision being fulfilled that it's faith, trust in God, and hard work. The task might seem very daunting at times, but that doesn't mean we should give up! We all are going to end somewhere in life as Andy shows so why not be somewhere on purpose!
There was great advice on vision casting and to never loose sight or give up on having your vision fulfilled! Just throughout the entire novel itself there were great tips, advice, and eye opening questions that help one's vision happen and give glory to God along the way as well as praising God for having the vision be as it "should be."
One thing I want to mention that really threw me off in the beginning is that he writes what I feel is the way he talks. I am not use to this kind of style and it took a little getting use too, but once I got into it I wouldn't change the novel in any kind of way!
If your looking for a novel concerning your vision and everything surrounding of how to fulfill it, then look no further because this book will give you tons of information as well as inspire you!

I've read Communicating For A Change and it too was equipping. Visioneering is a great source for those who have trouble defining what could be. I also like the emphasis on the little things that can help accomplish my purpose. It helps to devour the elephant one bite at a time.

This one suprised me because it is focus on True christian life - a life of total surrender to God, a life of sacrificing your will for His. It totally helped me grasp that His will for my life, according to His plans, is what's left for me in this short passing.
