Electricgal4 Stars Out Of 5Comfort through HopeMarch 10, 2015ElectricgalQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4This was a different type of film in that it tries to deal with why bad things happen to good people. What I personally got from it is that we live in a fallen, dying world. Just because we are new creatures through Christ, it does not mean our lives will be free from pain and suffering. I felt it was made also as a tribute to their friend's son who had passed away.
I actually lent this to a family who's close friends had lost a child. They said it was comforting to them. This film is not meant to be a film to watch with popcorn to be entertained and to loose yourself in a story for a few hours. It is a film that in a very artistic way deals with a very hard subject.

Had we known the first 15-20 minutes was all a promotion stunt for sending your kids to Liberty University, we would have stayed home. When the actual movie was over, we looked at each other wondering the same thingthat's it? The question upon which this movie was based was never clearly answered! Where is God in the midst of tragedy & suffering? Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people? If you're going to say these questions will be answered, then clearly answer them! This movie didn't even come close! My husband is the pastor of our church & we were previewing it to see if it would be good to show on our family movie night. Not a chance! It would leave our people more confused than before they viewed it! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
mom81305Florida5 Stars Out Of 5UnstoppableJanuary 26, 2015mom81305FloridaLove how the movie refers to scripture and it encouraged me to dig deeper into the bible. Helps you really try to understand to the best of our ability why bad things happen to good people but we will never truly know the answer until we are with our Lord.
