General O'Hara1 Stars Out Of 5Unstoppable... disappointmentDecember 29, 2014General O'HaraQuality: 3Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I was looking forward to this movie. I watched it and after I had thought "wow, I wish I could preview more... cause it was waste of my time and money..." Created in a odd format, and I am not sure I caught all details. I watched couple of weeks ago, and now I don't even remember why it is called "unstoppable..?"
Joe1 Stars Out Of 5UnstoppableNovember 24, 2014JoeQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1In our opinion there are some good points, some way over the top cheesy parts, and some dark, violent and disturbingly graphic segments. Highly disappointed. We had expected so much more from Kirk Cameron. Wish we'd have never watched - some of those disturbing images are etched in our minds. I truly hope it helps some people find Christ, but I can't think of any grieving person who would be helped by watching this video.

Tru2MyLord5 Stars Out Of 5UnstoppableOctober 8, 2014Tru2MyLordI thought this film with Kirk Cameron, was brilliant, held my attention, and was Scriptural. There was another review written with older patrons over fifty, which I and my husband both are, and with strong backgrounds in Scripture which gave this a poor review. They missed the point. Since Genesis, people have been lost in this fallen world's slow death ( slow movement of film/story) that is many times seen in chronic illness and pain that ends in death. We are all slowly dying until death and we have only Jesus, God's Son, who was there from creation, who also suffered and died for us, so that we wouldn't meet eternal death and damnation. Nothing since Genesis and the fall has changed, in that people turn away, asking why there is pain, suffering, and death. It all comes from the hand of Satan himself. Do we see God and go to His Son? Do we draw closer to God? Do we discover His Son and find His gift of salvation? In the movie, the boy did, and his example saved so many: he was a disciple who took the call of the Great Commission and changed the destiny of so many souls. From the Old Testament to the New Testament we are told there will be a Messiah, and we see Him live, die, and rise again. We on earth today still have that living Word to enrich the lives of ourselves and others. That is the premise of the movie. Tell others of Jesus if you know Him. If you don't know HIm, He died for you. The movie tells you you have only one life to decide your path. It was an excellent forum and I would recommend it for anyone over the age of twelve or thirteen, unless your child is mature in their faith, or ready for such a movie.
