This product is a notch up from DailyGrams because it includes lots of teaching during the the daily practice. There's almost no reason a child should miss an answer since they give an example above each question initially. The teaching reminders lessen as the book progresses, but hopefully the student will continue to remember what has been reviewed in the 10 minutes it takes each day. The only downside? This book begins at grade 8 so I'm looking forward to a similar format for younger grades. Meanwhile, my 6th grader can handle the 8th grade book because it's so straightforward in its approach. We plan to continue this throughout high school.

My 16 year old has always disliked grammar, but this is the first grammar curriculum that he doesn't try to avoid. It's relatively painless, while covering the necessary topics. He thinks this will prepare him well for the PSAT in the fall.

Great Books! These books give children just what they need to know in Grammar. My child excelled in her Standardized Test at end of the year. We bought the Grade 8 last year, and have bought the Grade 9 for the new year. Both the Student Book and the Teacher's Guide are great!

    Student vs. Teacher Edition
    October 25, 2021

I do like Easy Grammar, however I would suggest if you want the answers then you need only purchase the teacher edition. I wasn't going to get the teacher edition (didn't want to spend the extra money) but to ensure I was correctly correcting my son's work I decided to get it. Well, it is identical to the student edition only the answers are in the back! These pages can be torn out and put in a binder. Why they don't include the answers in the student book to begin with is a wonder. So essentially I paid $24 for 11 pages(front and back) of answers and a whole other book that I don't need. This Teacher edition should not exist, the answers should be in the back of the student workbook. So irritating that a company would charge 2x as much for the same book plus 11 extra pages and market it as a teacher edition. There is no added help aids to the teacher edition, nothing. What a rip off! Again, I do like Easy Grammar and would recommend it but be advised, don't waste your money on the teacher edition if you've already bought the student book. Rather purchase the teacher edition only for your student if you want the answers for quick reference. Is it worth double the money to have the answers, you'll have to decide.
