Craigie's commentary on Ezekiel is a pleasing mixture of scholarly and devotional insight. It is well written. He adopts an intelligently conservative stance. The work is brief, but extremely helpful in untangling the message of a very difficult book. Not surprisingly, detailed footnotes and in depth interaction with scholarly opinion are rare in this volume. If you are seeking that level of scholarly interaction try Block or Allen. But for a good solid, reliable and accessible exposition, Craigie is hard to beat!
