Pam Trochim5 Stars Out Of 5wonderful insightsDecember 28, 2013Pam TrochimQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My ladies' Bible study just completed this book along with the workbook. I loved looking at these women with more than just a glance. God's Word is so rich and every woman's story is there for us to ponder and see God's glory on display. Dr. MacArthur's teaching of how God loves and can use even the imperfect was encouraging. It made me feel cherished as a woman created by God.

Jill5 Stars Out Of 5EnlighteningJuly 13, 2016JillQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Our ladies ministry is doing this study over the summer, but the women in my Sunday School class are unable to attend those sessions. We decided this would be a refreshing break from our usual SS lessons and so are studying this together in our class on Sunday mornings. This had been received very well, I think mostly because we are seeing these women in a fresh new way. Rev MacArthur brings out things in these stories that many had not considered before. The writing style is very conversational while highlighting God's hand in the lives of these women. Far from being outdated, our women find this study to be very relevant and its lessons applicable. Because of time constraints, we do not use the workbook, but use the study guide in the back of the book. Enjoying this study very much!
