We used this study in our small group. It stimulated many thought provoking discussions.

I just finished a year reading Isaiah with about 18 other women using this study guide, and I highly recommend it. Ours is an interdenominational para-church ministry, theologically conservative but focused on the stuff al Christians agree on. We found the guide to direct our questions to the Bible, and to open our eyes to what God was and still is saying through Isaiah. We saw why the book is nicknamed "The Gospel According to Isaiah." The author's notes for many of the questions at the end of the guide expanded our understanding, but never overshadowed the authority of God's word. The questions didn't stay academic, either: they urged us to pray, to worship, to remember, and to act as appropriate to the chapter's message. Excellent for both small group discussion or for personal devotional use.

I am studying Isaiah;Trusting God in Troubled Times with a group of twenty -five women and we have found that this prophetic writing has been very relevant to the times we are living in. It has encouraged us to know that God is in control regardless of how things may appear and that he is always faithful to us even when we are not faithful to him. We have also found that studying the Old Testament has illuminated the New Testament studies that we have already done.The format of the LifeGuide studies works well for the size of our group. The questions are clearly stated and easy to understand. I have no hesitation in recommending this material to other groups.

The book of Isaiah has always been to me one of the greatest books of the Bible. It's content is rich in prophecy guided towards Jesus birth and sacrifice. This book helps me with the guidance of the Holy Spirit understand God's message and teach it efficiently.

We haven't started the women's bible study yet, but from reviewing the material, I feel that we will have an inspired series of meetings as we read through the book of Isaiah.
