A youth leader friend of mine bought this for everyone in her youth group and told me that they loved it. My daughter was in search of a devotional as she wasn't getting so much out of reading the bible as a sophomore. So I talked to my friend who suggested this one. She absolutely loved it! The author writes in language of kids today and seems to understand how to reach teens. The stories are unique and more than once my daughter and son shared stories that they read in this devotional with me and others in our youth group. I eventually bought them for my youth group as well, and not one person had anything negative to say. In fact, one of them is asking when there will be a new one from this author because she has finished it.
