John G. Mcmillan5 Stars Out Of 5April 11, 2009John G. McmillanThe book is well written, easy to understand and really quite wonderful. It fully met my expectations. I was glad I had read Appendix A, The New Atheism by Roy Abraham Varghese prior to reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. With respect to Appendix B, The Self-Revelation of God in Human History: a Dialogue on Jesus with N. T. Wright, the non-believing readers who open it will be believers when they put it down. Thats the claim Dawkins made for his book, wasnt it? In any case, Appendix B is positively thrilling. I must get more of N. T. Wrights books, especially those on the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

TaylorNebraskaAge: 18-24Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5Really good, but he doesn't go far enough!March 28, 2012TaylorNebraskaAge: 18-24Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4I loved the book, though I kind of expected him to eventually say, "And now I'm a Christian!" He only gets from Atheism, to Deism, to Theism, and finally to monotheism. I wish I knew if he ever accepted Christ before he died... He even says at one point something like (I don't have the book in front of me), "The qualities this Creator must possess are strikingly similar to the qualities possessed by the God of Judeo-Christianity." It drove me nuts that he never got to the end conclusion: The Creator IS the God of Christianity!
However, it is a good, quick read that makes plain a lot of modern philosophy and offers some insight into what kind of questions Atheists just can't answer. Enjoy!
