I loved the book of the king it was really well written and in some way, i related to Owen.(except about his dad and the way he treated him plus i have two parents!!)the sad thing is i would have never had read your book if it wasn't for my English teacher Mrs. Waterway. Thank you for coming to my school (Calvary Christian Academy) to speak with us.God Bless and Merry CHRISTmas,

This book was sooo exciting!! It was filled with twists and turns and full of adventure. This book is about a young boy named Owen who meets a man that carries in his possession, a book. Now normally, a book would not be of much importance in today's world, but to Owen this book meant so much more. It gives Owen strength and encouragement through the times to come. Owen's father thinks differently, he seeks to destroy this book that Owen has found joy in. It seems that Owen can't trust anyone. In the mean time he is having a school crisis with the boys at his school. But during this crisis he finds that he is not alone in his fight, but has people from a different dimension on his side. Owen must question on how much he is willing to risk for the sake of knowing more about his role as a wormling. This book talked to me to be bold, and to believe what I believe even if people think I'm weird. I shouldn't let anyone look down on me because I have different opinions of something and to always do the right thing.

I read this in order to check on what my son was reading. It was recommended Summer Reading by Focus on the Family. This series is very much a page-turner, and has a lot of Biblical parallels. The hero is very likable and the evil is clearly portrayed as such. I couldn't put it down, the story gripped me so much. Lots of plot twists and surprises, (though grownups might be able to see through some of them). Kind of suspenseful in Book # 1; some battle descriptions, but nothing too gory. Highly recommended for ages 9-14 or so. Younger kids might get scared of some of the characters.

I think this is an awesome, well written book, and it is really cool how it seems as though you are actually in it!!!! The way that it is written for our age group is great, because then you can understand what you are reading, and enjoy the book without missing key parts you just skip because they are talking about stuff you have never even heard of!!!!This book is intriguing, and will definitely not be boring!!!!thank you, Mr. Jenkins
