Booklover45 Stars Out Of 5An amazing wrap up to an excellent seriesJune 19, 2011Booklover4Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book was amazing and really was the best book out of the whole series! Not only did it wrap up the entire series very satisfactorily, it went so deep. There was just so much emotion and depth to the story, you just couldn't help cry at the Son's actions. This book really captured the sacrificial love of God in such a beautiful way.
Of course the book had it's flaws, as all things do since the Fall, and a couple confusing moments, but in all, it was a great read. I'd recommend this book to any person from 9 to 15, or just anyone with a passion for scriptures represented in a fun, captivating way. -
Marie HerronCaliforniaAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5January 12, 2009Marie HerronCaliforniaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleI have already purchased the first (3) series for my 11 year old son and he was just so captivated with the first (3) series, I ended up ordering the 4th and 5th books and he just as interested as the first three. A side from his regular reading of the Bible, he's not normally what you would call an avid reader, but for some reason he is absolutely intrigued with the Jerry Jenkins' Wormling Series.

A Hamilton5 Stars Out Of 5August 22, 2008A HamiltonThis was the best book in the series! The parallels between the main character and Jesus are really striking and eye-opening. I read this in order to check on what my son was reading. It was recommended Summer Reading by Focus on the Family. This series is very much a page-turner, and has a lot of Biblical parallels. The hero is very likable and the evil is clearly portrayed as such. I couldn't put it down, the story gripped me so much. Lots of plot twists and surprises, (though grownups might be able to see through some of them). Book # 5 is the culmination of everything that has been going on, and all the loose ends get tied up neatly and happily; some battle descriptions, some might be too gory for sensitive children (parents, you know your kids). Highly recommended for ages 9-14 or so.
