Crazy good. Though I'm bereft now that I've finished The Revealing and have to say goodbye to this incredible series. Though this is the third in The Inn at the Eagle Hill series you don't have to have read the other two in order to enjoy this one. However, I do think the book will mean so much more if you have. Desperately praying that the author will pick up with a couple of characters in her next books. There are a few who need their own happily ever afters.

Fisher weaves her magic within the pages of her stories which makes all her characters take on a life of their own. They turn into living, breathing people that become friends for life. And oh my goodness this book is rich with a wealth of such characters! I'd be hard pressed to name a favourite...though I could mention a couple of ne'er-do-wells that set my blood to boiling!

A zig zaggy plot will keep you on your toes -- and your emotions yo-yoing up and down, especially if you've read the other two Inn at the Eagle Hill books. I was alternately exclaiming, raging and screeching as things really heated up. All to no avail though -- those stubborn characters would insist on doing things their way!

Honestly, I was breathless by the end. I had to close the book and spend some time savoring all the nuances of a masterfully told story before I could even contemplated starting on another book...and that doesn't happen to me often! The Revealing is a heart-breaking and heart-warming conclusion to a much loved series.

I was a little worried when I read that this was the conclusion of this series! I DON'T WANT IT TO END and I'm not entirely happy with the end for just that reason!!!!!!!! LOL! I have LOVED these characters especially Mim a.k.a Mrs. Miracle! I was also afraid, and this is nothing against Naomi because I love her and her story to (I actually love her more so as she grows in The Revealing), that there wouldn't be enough of Mim's story. I was wrong! In fact I absolutely LOVE where Mim's story goes in The Revealing though I'm not particularly found of the questions I still have about where she'll go from here! New characters enter the scene as well as old, including the nefarious Jake Hertzler, and a new guest at Eagle Hill which I had some trouble liking {but as David Stoltzfus says "It's easy to love God,"..."Nobody has any problem in loving our heavenly Father. The problem is to love people who have sinned against us." So true, and while she is a character and hasn't sinned against me, Mim wrestles with the things Brooke does.}, Brooke's Aunt however I LOVE! I REALLY loved and enjoyed figuring out some of the great twists Suzanne sews in before they happen, as well as the ones that completely snuck up on me and blew me out of the water!!! SO much happens in this conclusion! But many questions come out and secrets are, as the name implies, revealed! Who are the new strangers around? Will Jake ever reap consequences? Will Galen ever accept Tobe? Can Tobe set down roots instead of run? And who's gonna marry whom by the time it's all said and done!? I REALLY enjoyed this book, but REALLY want more! I do highly recommend this series and Suzanne is one of my favorite authors! :)

P.S. UPDATE!!! Since I was worried about some of these favorite characters stories staying as cliff hangers I contacted Suzanne and asked if she is going on with them in another series... and she said YES!!! So while this may be the end of this series it's not the end for these characters! And I for one can't wait to see where Suzanne takes them!

    MY REVIEW!

The Revealing is a lot of twists and turns and secrets come to light! Naomi King, who is hiding her relationship with Tobe Schrock, who is actually in jail. There are many twists and turns to this story and intertwined stories.

I think it would be best to read the books in order to really follow what is going on but they can be read on their own but I would think you would be confused about certain things! The secrets being kept and relationships, it is all coming to a close, I always hate when a series ends because you want to know what else is happening with the characters,

I received this book in exchange for an honest review!

Things are finally coming to a close for the characters at Stoney Ridge in the Inn at Eagle Hill series, in Suzanne Woods Fisher's latest novel The Revealing. An appropriate title since so many of our questions, for readers who have been faithfully following the series, will finally have answers and closure. At the heart of the entire series has been the investment scandal of Schrock Investments, a company created and ran by Rose Schrock's former husband Dean. When Dean died due to a believed drowning, embezzlement charges rose to the service that those who worked for the firm were stealing money from the investors.

Since Dean is dead, it leaves behind Jake Hertzler and Tobe Schrock. Jake has left and gone into hiding while Tobe is still serving a prison sentence. All believe that Jake knows more, but since no one can locate him, the questions remain. As we pick up in the Revealing, Rose is still struggling to make ends meet by running the Inn at Eagle Hill. Business has been picking up since people believe miracles happen to those that stay so she is thankful for that. Galen King has his heart set on convincing Rose to marry him, but she feels it's simply too soon with so many unknowns, wondering what will become of Tobe when he is released and how she will get out of the debt the scandal has cost her.

Galen's sister Naomi is hiding her own secrets, with secretly visiting Tobe in prison. She can't let anyone know especially her overprotective brother, because according to Tobe, once he is released from prison, he will be revealing more than anyone knows. He promises that he will right all the wrongs that he believes Jake is responsible for. The mystery still continues with why Jake has been so bent on finding the ledger books that are missing that shows someone was responsible for faking the account totals while skimming money. When two unexpected visitors arrive at the Inn, things will never be the same and more will be revealed than anyone thought that will involve both the King and Schrock families.

I received The Revealing by Suzanne Woods Fisher compliments of Revell Publishers and Litfuse Publicity for my honest review. I did not receive any monetary compensation for a favorable review and the opinions contained here are strictly my own. I love the way Suzanne didn't rush to fill in all the missing pieces of the puzzle that has been surrounding this scandal and in the end, we get the closure and endings we had hoped for. I can only hope this is not the end of my favorite characters from Stoney Ridge and that they will resurface in others series in the future. I would love to know how things work between some of the couples that eventually find happiness in the end in their own novels. I easily give this one a 5 out of 5 stars and includes a delicious recipe for lemon blueberry squares along with a discussion guide for readers at the end.

The Revealing is a captivating conclusion to The Inn at Eagle Hill series - not that I was ready for it to end. I think that this one captured my heart more than any of the others - not because Brooke was my favorite character, because she wasn't, but because Naomi was high on that list. Naomi's wavering confidence, her love for her brother Galen, her kind and gentle spirit, in addition to the secret that she's keeping, make her riveting.

Having Naomi in the spotlight adds luster to the other characters. Bethany continues to sparkle just as Mim grows and matures. Rose struggles to lead her family wisely, and isn't that what we all want to do? Fisher nails the reality of these characters.

Which is precisely why I do not want to leave them just yet. While she thoroughly wraps up what's been happening with Mrs. Miracle, the story of these people is not over. Unlike most books, their lives didn't magically wrap up in neat little packages with all questions answered - and I want more books. More information. More problems and questions and struggles and answers.

I'm not ready to leave Eagle Hill - and I don't think you will be, either, and that's not a bad thing. These are characters and stories that stick in your mind and live on in your heart. So keep'em coming, please, Mrs. Fisher, and return to Eagle Hill.
