Christianfictionaddiction5 Stars Out Of 5A triumphant ending to a stellar seriesAugust 15, 2014ChristianfictionaddictionQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Suzanne Woods Fisher excels at keeping her readers on their toes, and "The Revealing" is no exception, as it is filled with twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages! This book brings things full circle, as we learn more about Tobe and his past choices and about his father's death, and we watch the different characters grow in profound ways as they face down trials. The most amazing change occurs in Naomi, who starts off the series as somewhat of a mousy character, and yet by the end of this book is quite the strong woman indeed! I must admit that I love seeing those types of transformations, and Fisher does it in a natural and believable manner. All of the characters seem to live and breathe with life, and I so enjoyed getting to know them over these three books. I'm sure it sounds as if I feel these characters are real...and in some ways it does feel that way! My only complaint is that things are left somewhat hanging with Jimmy, a character I have admired since his appearance in the Stoney Ridge series. All I can say is that there had better be another appearance from Jimmy in a future Fisher book (hint, hint). But for many of the other characters, things resolve in a highly pleasing manner, as they experience a chance at love and at new beginnings, discovering how to become the wonderful people God has created them to be. I walk away from this novel having enjoyed the deep, godly wisdom that permeates the book, calling us to love the unloveable, to give of ourselves in a selfless manner, reminding us that "Love...does extraordinary things to people". The world would be a better place if we all loved with the kind of love we are shown in this book!
"The Inn at Eagle Hill" series has been given a permanent place on my shelf, because I plan to read these books again and again over the coming years. I thoroughly enjoyed "The Revealing" and award it 5 out of 5 stars.

memakfEphrata,PAAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5All will be revealed at the endAugust 14, 2014memakfEphrata,PAAge: 55-65Gender: femaleThis is book three in a series titled The Inn at Eagle Hill, an inn located in Lancaster County, PA. The story can be read alone, although if you have read the previous two books you will be familiar with the characters and past history. I loved the diverseness of the characters all with their own storyline, but intertwined with each other. The author does a wonderful job keeping each characters unique story flowing without losing the reader in the process. The Amish lifestyle is accurately portrayed in the setting and events that evolve. Life lessons are scattered throughout, along with the good and bad sides to human nature. The Amish principles of faith and family are strongly represented. Stoney Ridge is definitely a town to revisit time and time again. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author, knowing I will easily lose myself in the story and setting.

DonnaGeorgiaAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5great christian fiction novelAugust 13, 2014DonnaGeorgiaAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Even though this is the third book in The Inn at Eagle Hill series I had no problem reading it as a stand alone book. It is a very very good read. Well written and strong characters. Suzanne has given us a story with secrets, deception, forgiveness, surprises, love, some mystery, some suspense and so much more.
Naomi King is hiding a secret from everyone including her brother Galen. She is following her heart and visits Tobe who is in prison but knows that even though she is risking everything Tobe Shrock is worth it. Rose a widow is trying to keep her family together. Will her relationship with Galen progress? You have Miriam who also has a secret. The stranger who claims to be a relative of a family there. A young girl who arrives with a shocking surprise for Tobe. There are many other characters all with twists and turns and stories of their own. With so many things going on in this book you will wonder how Suzanne will bring it all together but she does with a great ending.
Suzanne Woods Fisher is talented author and I recommend this book.

callieghCharlotte, NCAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Fitting EndAugust 12, 2014callieghCharlotte, NCAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The Revealing is the final book in the Inn at Eagle Hill Series. I have had a great time getting to know all of the characters within these novels. Since I had read the first and received the third, I had to buy the second in order to read them in order.
Naomi King has always been the quiet one. She is mellow and refined but rather sickly with her constant headaches and stomach issues. She has a secret which is longs to share but is afraid of the reactions from her community. She also tends to see and feel what others cannot. This is also not accepted among her people. But her heart has always belonged to only one man: Tobe Schrock.
Naomi travels to and from to visit Tobe but no one knows. Tobe ends up in prison for crimes he was not fully responsible for. She longs to help clear him and put the real culprit behind bars. But will her dreams be shattered by the arrival of an unexpected guest to the Inn? Will the real criminal be brought to justice? And just what secrets does Tobe hold from both his life with the English and his father's death?
Suzanne Woods Fisher leaves one guessing until the end. This is a story very much about family relationships, forgiveness, and love. I love the series and hope that she will once again return to Stoney Ridge in order visit not only the characters in this series but her 1st Stoney Ridge series as well. Many well loved characters from both are introduced and re-introduced here.
I received Boook 3 from bookfun.org in exchange for my honest opinion. Thank you!
