Linda M.5 Stars Out Of 5February 16, 2009Linda M.Like Liz, I read this book in 1971 when I was newly married and a new Christian. Since then I've been privileged to give copies of the books to new brides because I think we all need to see God in our everyday lives and be able to worship Him through our everyday tasks as homemakers and mothers.

Linda5 Stars Out Of 5January 2, 2006LindaI am often overwhelmed by the ideas for homemaking/decorating that I see in women's magazines and on home improvement shows. The projects just look too difficult. However, I was inspired to find there can be creativity in the daily things I do in my home and with my family. There are so many ideas in Mrs. Schaeffer's book that I would never have thought of because I never considered myself to be artistic. God is an artist and He has created us to be so as well.

Brenda N.5 Stars Out Of 5October 25, 2005Brenda N.I read this book as a young bride. It changed my life and influenced the way I looked at homemaking. It was the most important book I ever read about keeping a home. Much more than a "how to" book, Mrs. Schaeffer shares a philosophy about homemaking.Mrs. Schaeffer has influenced many women to bring creativity and warmth into everyday living.

Liz Marcellin5 Stars Out Of 5February 19, 2001Liz MarcellinI bought this book when it was under the title of 'Hidden Art" in 1971! It was the book that changed my way of thinking of creativity in everyday things! God the Creator could use me to be creative! It was a wonderful, affirming book then and continues to be as I share it with others under this new title. Anyone who has ever thought of themselves as "not creative" needs to read this book and realize that hidden art is truly found in the ordinary areas of everyday life. It is in the little things that we are blessed and bless others. God wants to work His creativity through us! This book can be life changing! It changed mine.
