A seasoned journalist chases down the biggest story in history Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the son of God? Retracing his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune, cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools like Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandeis who are recognized authorities in their own fields. Strobel challenges them with question like How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event? What documentation is there concerning the life and teachings of Jesus, and how reliable is it? Does archaeology substantiate the historical accounts? Did Jesus really perform miracles? Did he claim to be Godand if so, did he fit the profile? Strobels tough, point-blank questions make this Gold Medallionwinning book read like a captivating, fast-paced novel. But its not fiction. Its a riveting quest for the truth about historys most compelling figure. What will your verdict be in the The Case for Christ?

SonShineGal5 Stars Out Of 5Must read for Christians and Non-ChristiansSeptember 14, 2016SonShineGalQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I have been a Christian my whole life so I did not think I needed to read a book how someone went from non-believer to believer. I found out that Lee was going to be coming to our church and that made me want to read the book. WOW! This is an excellent read for anyone. Interesting facts and info. I even learned some things about the Bible that I have never been taught in all these years of going to church and Sunday School. I highly recommend this book.

It helped me to see the spiritual Jesus in the bigger context of His history and that helped me know Him better.
