confidentBrattleboro, VTAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5This book has great practical devotionals.December 31, 2010confidentBrattleboro, VTAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Our family has enjoyed the previous books of this series, as read-alouds in the Christmas season. This book is also fun, as our boys are already familiar with the characters. Each chapter has a practical devotional that ties the story into our own lives. Great for older kids, too.

GraciousMom5 Stars Out Of 5Great Book!December 21, 2010GraciousMomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We so thoroughly enjoyed the other two books in this Advent trio and this one is just as good. Neither the kids nor I want to stop at the end of an evening's reading. Great insight into what life was like in the time of Christ. Looking forward to reading Mr. Ytreeide's new Lent book this coming Easter. Definitely recommend it - Enjoy!

AnnaMinnesotaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Buy all 3 books and rotate reading each yearNovember 4, 2010AnnaMinnesotaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We love these books. We have all 3 and have rotated in reading them in the past 5 years. Tabitha's travels was the 1st book we read, but start with Jothams Journey.
My kids beg me to read more when we get to the cliffhangers. We read them once a day at supper or Breakfast during advent. -

They beg for more. There is exciting adventure, emotions, and wonderful happy endings. I especially love how the three stories weave into each other. Important lessons like truth, forgiveness, etc are bold. Awesome historical fiction!
