Surviving in an Angry World is a wonderful book on coping with anger! Dr. Stanley shows us the destruction anger can have on our health and relationships. He then shows us how to manage our anger with God's help to eventually overcome it! He's always very positive in the book showing us how to look past angry feelings and be productive instead of destructive. Dr. Stanley emphasizes the importance of forgiving others the way God has forgiven us which is the key to letting go of anger altogether. I highly recommend Dr. Stanley for being such an excellent positive preacher of God's Word!

Only on Chapter 4, but so far this book is such a straight forward, easy read. Dr Stanley was such an inspiring gentle soul and it shows in his writings. looking forward to finishing the read and applying the solid principles to my walk with Jesus.

This is an excellent book to help you recognize the signs of anger/unforgiveness/bitterness, etc., especially the ones that are sometimes sublte. It also shows you how to practically and Biblically deal with those things in yourself as well as how to respond to people around you who might have those issues. I highly recommend it.

Teaches how to live in peace, not in anger, grreat little book.

Highly recommended. As our country becomes increasingly more Godless, this problem becomes more evident with each passing day. Dr. Stanley shows us not only how to identify it in ourselves and defeat it, but recognizing it in others and to avoid them if need be.
