ButterflyreviewAge: 55-65Gender: female3 Stars Out Of 5Good bookJune 6, 2014ButterflyreviewAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4Tina Cahill was introduced to us in the previous Trouble in Texas book "Fired Up". She is Jonas Cahill's kid sister. She is now settled in town and her goal is to close the Broken Wheel Saloon with her picketing. She is also the cook for the town diner.
Vince Yates nickname is "Invincible Vince" because he has a reputation for letting nothing stand in his way. He is in for the biggest challenge of his life. His mother, father, and sister he didn't know he had, arrive in town without any warning. His father is still the same hard man he has always been. His mother can't even remember who he is and is showing all the signs of dementia. Vince knew his father was a hard man so he was not surprised when he left town without so much as a goodbye. Now Vince has to figure out how to take care of his mother who can't be left alone at all as well as a sister he never knew. Tina doesn't approve of how he is handling things and is not shy about letting him know it.
Vince and Tina have a strong attraction to each other but Vince is determined that he is never going to marry. He doesn't want to be like his father and he doesn't want to saddle a wife and possible children with the dementia that his mother has.
This is the third book in the series. It is not necessary to read the other two books. But it would be helpful to get the characters sorted out. I thought this was a good book but not as good as the first two. There didn't seem to be as much action and suspense. I am giving this book three stars for that reason. It is a good clean book that I could recommend to anyone.
I was given this book by the publisher for an honest review. I was not compensated in anyway.
