This excellent devotional contains 52 varied meditations on Psalm 27. Taken as a whole, they offer solace to those facing life's trials, while also asking the reader to examine the idols and illusions that keep us from experiencing the fullness of God's peace and joy. The meditations vary in length from relatively short poems to longer writings that require time and reflection in order to get the most benefit. Journaling after each meditation would be ideal. I highly recommend this devotional.

Looking forward to using this in 2019. Most written by Paul David Tripp is worth our while to read.

I became familiar with Tripp from the GriefShare video's - his remarks were very helpful and I was impressed with his wisdom. I decided to look for books he had written and this is the first I'm reading. Its not about grief per see, though it is definitely helpful in that regard too. he is on the way to becoming a favorite author!
