Growing up, Nabeel Qureshi never thought he would consider turning from his family's deeply held beliefs in Islam. It was his whole world, his identity. Yet, as he grew into a young man earnestly seeking for God to speak into his life, he was surprised by what he found. What he found was a growing question about the divinity of Jesus, which lead ultimately to his conversion to Christianity.
In Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, Nabeel shares the powerful story of his journey from faith in Allah to faith in Jesus Christ. Along the way, he gives valuable insight into Islam, sharing cultural, intellectual and theological barriers that often stand in the way of Muslims accepting Jesus. However, despite his objections to Christianity, it was the friendship of Christians, the historical facts of the life of Jesus, and divine revelation through a dream and vision that convinced Nabeel of the truth of the Gospel. Nabeel's testimony will deepen your understanding of American Muslims and draw you closer to Jesus as you consider the amazing ways He works today.

An Unexpected Journey from Islam to Christianity
In Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, Nabeel Qureshi describes his dramatic journey from Islam to Christianity, complete with friendships, investigations, and supernatural dreams along the way.
Providing an intimate window into a loving Muslim home, Qureshi shares how he developed a passion for Islam before discovering, almost against his will, evidence that Jesus rose from the dead and claimed to be God. Unable to deny the arguments but not wanting to deny his family, Qureshis inner turmoil will challenge Christians and Muslims alike.
Engaging and thought-provoking, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus tells a powerful story of the clash between Islam and Christianity in one mans heartand of the peace he eventually found in Jesus.
"I have seldom seen such genuine intellect combined with passion to match ... truly a 'must-read' book."
Nabeel Qureshi is a speaker with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. He holds an MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School, an MA in Christian apologetics from Biola University, and an MA in religion from Duke University.

Having worked with a Muslim in years past, much more insight of what I had experienced. A brief footnote about the Trinity being a problem, to explain, it's just a different kind of math... not 1+1+1= 3, .......but 1x1x1=1 . He took a risk, now may his family come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.

I read the entire book in two days and found it to be a very compelling testimony: the pages tell of a seeking soul, who, though labeled Muslim by birth, heritage, and upbringing, was so very hungry for truth.
This book gives much explanation of Muslim teaching and worship as well as, perhaps unintentionally, practical tips on how to avoid offending Muslims when attempting to share the Gospel with them. I was a bit shocked at how much Qureshi, although raised in a very conservative and active Muslim family, did not know about the Koran, its writer, and its contents; a few days after finishing this story, Shawn and I had an interesting conversation with a Muslim man named Omar who said, You know more about the Koran than I do, making my brain go into overdrive with the implications of this lack of real knowledge of their religion and the actual words of their holy book. I was enthralled by his Muslim mother and the Islamic books on dreams who interpreted Quershis dreams in a manner I (and Id imagine, he) didnt expect at all! (I wont say more on this: Id spoil it for you!)
I do not agree with all of the theology of this book, ie. the idea of a triune God, but Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus would be a useful tool to anyone who wants to express Christian love to Muslims around them and an encouragement to all who seek to deliver the message of a Savior: Jesus truly is still drawing, speaking to those who seek after Truth. Five stars and a standing ovation to Nabeel Quershi for a courageous stand to follow Jesus Christ and a well-written, informative, attention-grabbing-and-holding book about his amazing story!

I just keep thinking what life would be like if we as Christians live with a fraction of the devotion depicted by Nabeel and his Muslim upbringing.
I enjoyed learning more about the Muslim faith and loved the debates and investigative manner some of the hard questions were answered.
I believe I was led to this book as a result of a recent conversation I had with a Muslim friend. Very soon after I found this book and now I feel our next chat can be even more meaningful.

I could not put this book down! I found Nabeel's writing style to be very relatable and easy to read. I also loved the historical and scholarly research he provided to back up his points. It was intriguing to learn the perspective he had of America and Christians growing up. Throughout the book, I found myself laughing, tearing up, and quickly turning the pages to find out what happened next. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and I would highly recommend this book. I already passed this book along to my mom, dad, and sister. It is a must read!
