In her new book, Ruthless, Bos theology gets wonderfully practical as readers discover what God does for them and through them during battles they are engaged in. Ruthless helps readers to see Gods character in those battles and understand how He ruthlessly fights for them.

It had short chapters which let me pick it up whenever I could and not feel like I had to find my place. The "Pondering" sections at the end of each chapter let me do just that! I will read this book over and over because it helps at whatever stage. Knowing God has my back and fights for me is a promise I want to land on.
TamiAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Life ChangingJanuary 29, 2014TamiAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Without question, Bo and her family face extreme difficulties, yet the reader is not asked to dwell in the muck of their battle with ALS. The reader is thrown a lifeline to their own struggles. The lifeline grounds us in the truth of the character of God.
The chapters are short but deep. It took me awhile to get through the first few chapters because I was so challenged by their truths; fighting daily battles and seeing them in a new light, applying truth and watching God work in His timing.
