I can't recommend this book highly enough. I consider it to be one the best books I've read about life as a follower of Jesus Christ, and I've been reading excellent Christian books for 35 years and leading Bible studies for 25. If you want to have more peace of mind and heart, if you want to know how to trust our Lord when circumstances and feelings tempt you to fear, this book WILL lead you to know how. Your view of our amazing God will never be the same! DO get this book and share it with those you love. And get the study guide called When I Am Afraid, also by Welch. These books will change your life if you give them serious thought and prayer as you read and consider what he says. But even without the study guide, Running Scared is life changing. And if, like me, you would say fear or worry is not an issue for you, read this book to be set straight and learn how to trust God in ways you haven't before and to rest in His true character and ways.

This is simply put it, an excellent book. Worth the money. Well thought out, interesting, not too preachy, but helpful and for me personallly a real blessing. I would recommend this book highly.

Loved this book. Bought it to help my children learn how to deal with fear. In the process found out how much fear was in my own life. Ed Welch writes in plain language and his findings are straight from God's Word.
