EquipperEnglewood CoAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Powerful and Easy to GraspSeptember 2, 2013EquipperEnglewood CoAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Discovery of what God said and what it means for us today can be hard to accomplish with some books and study Bibles. It seems they want us to see what they see more than what God wants us to receive.
Paul's letter to the Church in Rome has been instrumental in changing the lives of many among them, Augustine and Martin Luther two of Christianity's greatest leaders.
This pamphlet's primary strength is a clear presentation of the teachings in the letter to the Roman Christians so that we might apply them in our lives today. I particularly like that it gives concise definitions to terms we hear in church but do not often use in the Biblical way in our lives. These include Redemption, Ransom, Atonement and Justification. The colorful format, design and writing style allow you to move through the powerful truths presented with ease.
I have found this to be much more than a simple pamphlet in my walk with God.

Micah4 Stars Out Of 5Good features. Recommended for study.August 28, 2013MicahQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4The Rose Romans pamphlet provides a concise explanation of a six-point outline given at the beginning, along with background information on Paul and the letter itself. The main subjects covered in this pamphlet are the following: Salvation, differences between the Jews and Gentiles, new life in Christ, and many more sub-topics. There are five total charts, with many three-point mini outlines, along with ten application questions to help make key concepts and ideas clearer. It is mostly in outline form, so it is easier to find a certain topic based on the reference. However, this pamphlet absolutely does not replace the importance of reading the epistle itself. The cheaper and probably more profitable way to study Romans and its key concepts would be to read it for what it says from the very mind of God. I would give this a 4 star rating. It does explain the key concepts very well, and it would be profitable to read for Bible study. However, I would much more recommend reading the literal book of Romans. This is still very helpful in recognizing main concepts and background to the book. I would definitely recommend this for a Bible study, because of the charts, outlines, etc. but not for a substitute to reading the book itself. Never should one substitute man's explanation over God's infallible word. Overall rating: good reference.
