Sonja CrutcherTexasAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Everything I wanted in a Bible studyApril 9, 2014Sonja CrutcherTexasAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this for my 10-11 y.o. ds for his Bible class this school year in our homeschool. It has been everything I hoped to have in a Bible curriculum. The chapter titles clearly detail the study. The narrative style, appropriate stories, subtopics, and the worldview studies have all been excellent. There is plenty of Scripture covered in each chapter, which includes the "Hide it in Your Heart" feature. My favorite feature is the Worldview study at the end of each chapter. The topics are appropriate for the age level, but very thorough! We are tackling worldview materials that most curriculum never cover. I like having both a Bible study and Worldview study in one book. I look forward to continuing these studies. Not the same old Bible stories material at all! There are deep truths in this material.

It is what I learned in seminary, but understandable for children. It is interesting to them and discussion oriented. We do two pages a day.

We love it! It is her favorite subject! I wasn't sure about getting the journal, but I am very glad I did. She loves the activities in it, and it has a very handy outline at the beginning which separates it into lesson plans. I would highly recommend both if you are homeschooling. High quality as well as solid, Biblical teaching.

anneToronto, Ontario, CanadaAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A fun and spiritually challenging study.November 8, 2013anneToronto, Ontario, CanadaAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As a teacher and a homeschooling Mom, I can truly recommend this series. Both my son and myself thoroughly enjoyed this study. The text brought up worldviews and challenged our thinking in a straightforward way. This study is biblically based and allows the reader to compare his/her beliefs to whom God is and what He has done for us. The inter-active journal is also a fantastic resource, though you need to plan a good amount of time to insure it is completed. (we used it for a writing grade in addition to other writing assignments) The journal allows for drawing, creating of mini books, etc. and our son chose to use the Praise Report as an opportunity for song writing! Thank you to all who created this! God Bless.

All the kids enjoyed listening to me read it aloud. I have highly recommended it many homeschooling families. We will keep it for our grandkids to read one day.
