Set was beyond my expectations, Been wanting this set for years and so glad I finally got it. Beautiful

I have been looking for years for a nativity set like this. My husband gave me the wise men as a gift and I absolutely had to have the rest of the set! These pieces have amazing detail and color.

If you order the pieces separate make sure you purchase the right size. They come in 7", standard (10"), and deluxe (12"). I read reviews on many websites and people are complaining about the sizes not matching, but this is an ordering error! I recommend the 10" standard set (they are neither too small nor too big).

We've always wanted a Nativity with more detail to it. But the other ones we found before had hair that was blond or the Angel was too feminine and girly... or both. This "Real Life Nativity" is exactly what we have been wanting! From the 3 richly colored Wise Men, the simpler colored shepherds and to the dazzling star, it's perfect. All we lack now is the Stable!

I bought the 14 inch set, but if these smaller ones are anything like the bigger one, than it's well worth the purchase.

Yes, the animals - especially the Camels and donkey are significantly smaller than the Human figures. But to remedy this, I recommend placing the animals off in the distance to the rest of the Nativity ... or "pretend" that they are the "babies" and the parents are off somewhere else ( lol ).

The set was above and beyond my expectations, and went together good with the nativity figures.
