How do you communicate the gospel in a secular and pluralistic society? In a joint presentation to Dartmouth campus leaders, Ravi Zacharias and Nabeel Qureshi offer insights on confidently sharing both the beauty and the truth of Jesus Christ in our rapidly changing world.
Disc 1 & 2
Ravi discusses the four points essential to communicating effectively in the public square: identification, translation, persuasion, and justification, and highlights how to reach even those skeptics who are longing for meaning and purpose today.
Nabeel emphasizes why followers of Christ must understand and embrace the power of dialogue, and shares examples from his personal testimony of coming to faith in Christ from a Muslim background.
Disc 3 & 4
Learning to live in a pluralistic society is a constant challenge. Ravi discusses what it means to demonstrate true civility and respect, even in the midst of deep disagreements and differences.
Ravi highlights three moods that have come to characterize American society: secularization, pluralization, and privatization. In a compelling manner, he argues that these trends are leading to an erosion of boundaries and loss of shame, undermining logic and rationality, and "absolutizing relativism." He boldly confronts the double standards prevalent in higher education when it comes to the notion of tolerance, saying, "If the academy is going to be honest, please give a platform to proclaim dissenting views, and let the truth win out in the end."
