Chris Venema3 Stars Out Of 5December 18, 2009Chris VenemaI used th3se materials for an experienced Bible study group at our church. Three sessions is great for an Advent study. Pastor Warren's concepts are easy to understand for the new believer and yet prompted meaningful discussion in our 'veteran' group. Since Christmas is a 'hot button' time for many people and can be very stressful, it's good to be reminded that the Incarnation is meant for joy, love and peace. If you are looking for a study that can help you focus on the season, I can recommend these materials. If you want deep theological meaning and answers to hard questions, you may want to look elsewhere.

Victoria2 Stars Out Of 5Need Book to Go With It - Not In DepthDecember 18, 2015VictoriaQuality: 3Value: 2Meets Expectations: 1I was truly disappointed with this study. From reading the description and information online it seemed as if you did not have to have the Purpose of Christmas book and that this could be a stand alone DVD/Workbook study. Although it is literally possible to do this study without reading the book, it is extremely basic and not what my group was looking for at all. The biggest draw was that it was a 3 week study which was all we needed but I would not recommend you choose this one unless you are a new believer or only wanting the most basic principles about your faith.

Tampafan1 Stars Out Of 5Lame Christmas StudyDecember 5, 2010TampafanQuality: 3Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1I like Rick Warren, but he must have needed money when he wrote this. This is the lamest lesson study I've listened to in a long time. I thought this would be nice to use in the 3 weeks leading up to Christmas, but really... Ask the class to share a Christmas memory? Do you think God is for you or against you? Give me a break, Rick!
