Elaine BilowichGlenview, IllinoisAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Sometimes we're too much like the elder sonDecember 2, 2014Elaine BilowichGlenview, IllinoisAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My small group is using this for our current study, We're incorporating the book along with the DVD, which really enhances the study. This is very in-depth, using the theme of the Prodigal Son from the Bible. It helps us to understand that both sons were sinners, not just the younger who took all his inheritance and squandered it, but also the elder who was so self-righteous. The main thing to remember is that God, our Father wants a relationship and that sometimes many of us are like the elder son, which takes away that relationship with our Father.
