Angie CastellawGermanyAge: 45-54Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5April 2, 2009Angie CastellawGermanyAge: 45-54Gender: FemaleOf all the children's devotionals I looked at (and I have looked at many) I like this book the best. Many of the illustrational stories in other books present problems that are so worldly or so extravagant that most churched children don't even have the problem to begin with. This book presents stories that are taken out of the every day life of most children, e.g. sibling rivalry, etc. and uses these stories to teach a spiritual point. If you are on the conservative side and want a good devotional to go through with your children I think you would appreciate this book.

Laura M5 Stars Out Of 5March 15, 2010Laura MI purchased two of these for my 10 year old boy and girl. We have realy enjoyed useing them everyday for the past week or so now. The stories are done well and seem to fit well with the scriptures for the most part. The stories are wholesome and since we homeschool it is good that there is not alot of extreme behaviors and only one school setting so far. This has been a nice way to start our day with a possitive attitude check and self reflection.

LT5 Stars Out Of 5Good DevotionJanuary 19, 2015LTQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5A devotion book is only good when you use it. My 7 year old son does his devotion everyday with this book. It gives a Bible passage that goes along with the story, a practical way to tie everyday experience with God's word, and questions for reflection. I'm glad my son likes doing his devotion now.
