David Jeremiah is a wise and mature servant of the Lord, and this study Bible reflects that. In reading this Bible, I feel as though I am sharing a Bible Study with Dr. Jeremiah. I'm taking my time, reading the text in sections, reading the footnotes, the boxed notes, and taking the time to check the cross references, even if I am familiar with them.

Is David Jeremiah infallible? No, of course not. Do I always agree with every single thing he says? No. Am I blessed spiritually by studying with this wonderful teacher? YES, I am.

This Bible is excellent quality by today's standards. Years ago, type used to be darker most of the time, and red letter, which I find distracting, didn't exist. I would be wrong to downgrade the quality of this book just because it is constructed and printed according to modern standards. The binding is sturdy, and I expect it to last.

The paper is very thin. Good Bible paper IS thin. And this book is loaded with information. If the paper were thicker, you couldn't carry the book -- or it would be necessary to make the type a lot smaller. So consider before you complain about the delicate paper. Thin paper is actually less likely to be damaged if you handle it carefully.

This is a big, book - relatively heavy as it is. I won't read this one lying down in bed. I have a smaller one for reading before I sleep. THIS book is a STUDY Bible -- and I settled down this morning in a good chair and with good light to read. Considering my age, I might have needed a magnifying glass and didn't. If you find the type looks light, MOVE THE BOOK SO THE LIGHT REFLECTION OFF THE PAGE IS MITIGATED. That makes it really quite readable. If you need a magnifying glass, get one you find convenient to use, because it's worth the effort to do that.

As always, I am benefitting from David Jeremiah's concise, clear, and unusually helpful insights and his ways of explaining things. I use an Old Scofield, a New Scofield, a Nelson KJV Study Bible which used to be the Liberty Annotated KJV, a Ryrie, the Archeological Study Bible (some notes a bit liberal in that one), and more. I find a good study Bible to be a convenient way to enjoy the benefit of what feels like dialogue with men of God, because I stop and think about what they say.

I think this one is my new favorite. David Jeremiah's incisive and very clear insights penetrate the confusion often generated by misunderstandings or by those who have an axe to grind in interpretation.

I highly recommend this Bible. I pray it will be a blessing to each individual who purchases one or who receives one as a gift.

I received my copy today in the morning and I spent most of the day skimming through the bible, checking it out. I liked what I saw. It has very good size type in the bible text and notes, has the words of Christ in red letter, contains very helpful extra's for adding learning. The one thing I noticed is that this bible is good in it's commentary that one can understand. I own many bibles, and study bibles. For example, I have used the MacArthur Study Bible and I do like it and will continue to use it, but it's almost to much historical detail that the average reader wont understand. Where the Jeremiah bible explains a verse but it's done in a way where you can understand it to apply it to your life. Basically it's easier to understand. The bible is in the New King James Version which is good. I personally would like it better in the NASB, but that's ok. I like the NKJV and will use it. From what I can tell, I would reccomend this bible. I plan on using this bible and I must say even from skimming it, it's one of the best study bibles I own and I am very pleased with it. I'm glad I got one.

So, so amazing! Dr. Jeremiah was truly touched by The Holy Spirit when he put this study bible together! New King James makes it easy to follow while keeping true to the original word, and Dr. Jeremiah's commentary and insight is the icing on the cake! Also, the large print is easy on the eyes... Do yourself a big favor and get a copy of this awesome study bible and immerse yourself in The Holy Word of The Most High God!

    God bless and take care...

I have 3 study Bibles (2 Ryries and the Jeremiah) I like the Jeremiah best for the explanations of the verses and the large print helps. They are all the NKJversion.

I delayed buying the Jeremiah study Bible because of reviews that complained of too few study notes. However, I found this Bible to be excellent, including very helpful notes and book introductions! Most helpful : Before each book is an explanation of what the book says, what it means and what it means for you! The notes and introductions are very good.

Don't be hesitant to buy this Bible-- it is a great study tool!My only reservation(4 stars for product quality) is that the leather cover is a bit thin as are the pages, but don't let this stop you from purchasing it. The days of thick leather covers and strong paper( like my Scofield and Ryrie Bibles of 20-30 years ago) are gone.

I highly recommend this study Bible.
