I own several different bibles in several translations, and always like something about all of them. I'll have to say this one is probably the most useful and practical bible that I own. I purchased the hardback because it was cheaper and really didn't think I'd use it that much...but I was wrong. I really like that even in the hardback edition, it has not one, but two ribbon markers. It has the Words of Jesus in red-letters, which I know is just a personal preference, but I like it. There are several good short quotes scattered throughout the bible, which I enjoy sharing on social media. It is not large print, but even though I wear glasses, the print size is still very readable. It is a thick bible, which is to be expected, because of the good print size and all the useful information that it contains, but it's still not too cumbersome to carry to church. Of course, the NKJV has been a trusted version for years, and I think it will be for many years to come. Like I said earlier, it is useful and practical, not only for defending your faith to others, but to encourage and strenghthen your own personal faith in God, because if you're like me, sometimes you have questions yourself. I simply can't recommend this bible enough, I think it would be a help to new and seasoned believers alike. Thank You Father for Your Word!

As a new believer in Christ, I hope someday soon this Bible would come in large print. I am 60 years old, and my eye sight is bad. I think this Bible would be great to have at any age. Im not able to give it any stars only because it doesnt come in large size, there for I wouldnt be able to read it. But I would tell my young friends about this Bible.

I actually call this an Evangelism & Apologetics Bible. It is much better than the HCSB Apologetics Study Bible, First, I don't like the HCSB. That Bible contains articles about well known Christian apologists throughout church history while this Bible ( The Evidence Bible ) actually contains practical articles about how to DO evangelism & apologetics. If you purchase and use the Evidence Bible you will be more motivated and equipped to share the gospel with the lost than you've ever been before. This Evidence Bible has a trustworthy translation ( NKJV) along with practical information to equip you to be an evangelist & apologist within your family, neighborhood,and work -place. This is an outstanding Bible! I can't say enough positive things about it.

Some of my so called Christian friends won't like this bible, simply because it's "not" the KJV.. They will contend it isn't the real bible. What they won't concede is the King James has been changed over the years from the 1611.

I don't like how the King James is worded, since we don't speak like they did in the 16th century. I believe this bible to be a good study bible as well and it will explain things today.

I've held off from buying this bible for some time, but I couldn't hold off any longer..

Ray Comfort does a great job providing so much extra knowledge as you read the scriptures.
