EVERY CHILD SHOULD HAVE THIS BIBLE!!!! My daughter has the thumb-indexed version. Our youth leader at our church made sure that every one of our children had this bible. It's colorful & even comes in a 3-D Version so it grabs and holds the attention of our youth. It has many extras throughout the bible. It really breaks down the scripture in a way that the children can easily understand it. In my personal opinion, this is the BEST bible on the market for our children/youth. I would also recommend the Adventure Bible for Toddlers. As well as, the Adventure Bible Book of Devotions. You will not be disappointed. :))

We purchased this item by the case to distribute to our K-6th grade youth at church that do not have a bible at home. The kiddos love it! It is beautifully illustrated w/ tons of insightful extras and activities that kiddos can do to jelp bring the bible to life. Plus it breaks things down for the kiddos in the "in bible times" sections on most pages. I love the NIV version for beginning readers but have been dissapointed to find most have removed around 20 key verses from the bible (if you study you will see those passage numbers are completely missing from certain texts). I was pleasantly surprised to find that this version is pretty much identical to the older version of the Kids Niv Adventure Bible but w/ one key difference... that while these scriptures were still removed they contain a star where they are missing and when you go to references on bottom of page it actually states that some manuscripts contain here a passage similar to... and it will give you another bible passage. I like this because you are at least aware that the verse is missing and can look up the suggested verse or look online or in another version to compare. It actually helped me to introduce the topic of different versions to my kiddos and explain the importance of studying scripture and comparing different versions for accuracy and clarity to aide your spiritual journey and repationship with the Lord.

My grandchildren will be getting the bible for Christmas and I am sure it will be a adventure for them. I was showing my neighbor NIV adventure bible and her granddaughter asked about the book by just looking at the cover we could tell she was interested in the book. the neighbor said she would get NIV Adventure Bible for her granddaughter for Christmas.

The reatest gift possoble for my 12 year old Godson. He now owns his own personalised bible.
