Still Growing5 Stars Out Of 5New Believer's Guide to Effective Christian LivingAugust 23, 2014Still GrowingQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is a great book. It clearly presents a course of action for the person who has recently accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We too often lead someone in the prayer of salvation, see them saved and then leave them on their own with no further instruction. Satan loves is when we leave new Christians on their own to sink or swim. We are to go into all the world and make disciples, yes: but we are also to teach them in all the ways we are commanded, by God, so they can truly live the life of a Christian.
Even, and perhaps especially, if you have been a Christian for a long time; you should read the book to renew your perspective on what you are to be doing as a born again Christian.
You may want to do what I did. After reading the book, I gave a copy to my local pastor where I regularly attend Church and suggested we give a copy of this to everyone who become a new believer at our Church. -
Al Drewett5 Stars Out Of 5October 1, 2007Al DrewettAn excelent book for both believers and nonbelieves alike. Non believers tend to question their own choices about Christ. I have purchased numerous copies of this book. When I loan it out it seldom returns.
