Our group just finished all 7 sessions of this Bible Study and it personally impacted all of our lives. The DVD that accompanies this study is WELL worth it...the Bible study questions really match the DVD and Grace Fox is a vivacious and engaging speaker. WE really enjoyed our 7 weeks and wished there were more

Reading this book brought back so many personal experiences I have had to give to God! Fox has written what I truly believe--we can be free of fear even in the midst of the worst storms of our lives! Her examples are easy to relate to since most of us have "been there, done that" with at least some of them. The Points for Progress provide the reader with excellent insight into the heart of each concern and then the Promises to Ponder give us the hope we need to carry out the necessary soul-searching. I love books with prayers in them, and Grace's prayers at each chapter's end are precious. I highly recommend this book, and having been a person filled with fears, I have the right! (Smile)

Grace Fox has nailed the fears that pierce a woman's heart and prevent her from experiencing the true joy and freedom that are her birthright as a child of the living God. For too long we women have allowed ourselves to walk in the shadow of fear, missing out on the sunlight that beckons us and is ours for the taking. Grace shows us how we can move from the shadow into the sunlight once and for all and, in turn, help others to do the same. Complete with provocative points to ponder, Scriptures to meditate on, and prayers to pray, "Moving from Fear to Freedom" is a must-read book for any woman who desires to live in the truth that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind."

Who doesnt have a fear or twoor several dozendragging her down? And where are the standard-bearers to help us face our fears? Grace Fox is one such standard-bearer in this thoughtful and practical book. She touches on the fears facing the majority of women: our children, finances, health, tomorrows unknowns, our personal limitations, being rejected, our past failures, and the aging process. A glance at her footnotes will show that many of her updated illustrations come from the intense research of personal interviews. (Among the most memorable: the faith of a quadruple amputee who survived a life-threatening illness.) These are woven together with Biblical wisdom, with each chapter ending with focus questions, Bible verses to meditate on and a scripture prayer. Graces vulnerability about her own fears makes this book even more authentic.
