The wire-bound Leader's Guide includes two introductory chapters on the parables, twelve detailed teacher's notes for teaching each class, and six lessons on Cinematic Theology. The Leader's Guide is the complete guidebook for how to teach the class. (108p.)
The Study Book includes twelve in-depth chapters on the parables. Almost all of the in-depth biblical study materials are included in the Study Book. The reasoning behind this is that once students have their interest piqued by the parable film, they will have a new interest as well as context for reading more about the parable. (208p.)
The entire study has been designed by a teacher for teachers. It has a "modular" design to it so that you can teach some of the lessons or all of them. The DVD box set provides a complete class with all the necessary teaching materials. All you need is a DVD player, a TV and students. Spanish Subtitles.

All the information is provided that would help any Bible study leader guide the discussions. The quality of the episodes is outstanding. We personally preferred some more than others, with our favorites being those that dealt with the Parable of the Good Samaritan and the Parable of the Prodigal Son. The modern day versions of the parables that Jesus taught are very thought provoking and help one to see Jesus' teachings in light of modern times. The set is not inexpensive, but it is a high quality product. In this case, you get what you pay for.
alice5 Stars Out Of 5August 3, 2009aliceI just finished this with my adult SS class and it was excellent! The vignettes were thought provoking and entertaining. It kept the attention of a group of mostly ADHD adults.
