This is the crem della crem of inductive Bible studies. Teachers of the sacred Scripture should not leave home without it. It is detailed and and user frendly. This has been used by myslf to help mystudent in both their homoletic class and in their engaging in spiritual formation.

This is the classic treatment of inductive Bible study. I learned inductive study using this book and what I learned I use everyday. I yearn to see inductive study of the Scriptures becoming part and parcel of every Christian's life. For a comprehensive introduction to inductive study Traina's book is without peer.

This book was assigned to me for my general ed class as my Christian based University and they put it in BIBL 105 level for the general everyday student, like myself, working to wards their degree. I agree this book is probably wonderful for a seminary student but it is difficult to understand for the average student. I am an RN and working on acquiring my BSN. I have fully enjoyed all my biblical classes until this one where this book was introduced. I had to read each chapter 4-5 times, chapter 2 which is extremely long, and despite my efforts could not understand most of the information in this book or how to apply it to understanding scriptures. Some parts I found interesting but Chapter 2 was the killer for me. I am only reviewing this for those who are NOT going towards a pastoral degree. I would ONLY recommend this to a seminary student!
