Tricia Russell4 Stars Out Of 5Lighthearted movie!March 21, 2014Tricia RussellQuality: 3Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4
This movie was a bit slow getting started. However, if you hang in it does get better. It wraps up with a good message and improved in the second half. It was good lighthearted entertainment.

I watched this movie last summer along w/my oldest son and his fiance' and we could not stop laughing all the way through the movie!! It was hilarious and the acting was better than I thought it would be.
Just a cute, whimsical Christian movie that your whole family will enjoy!

This was a movie worth watching. It had some goofy parts, but has a good message... sort of like the Prodigal Son.

I found this to be basically just enjoyable and light hearted. It wasn't a serious hard core christian movie...nor was it meant to be so we enjoyed it.

Disappointing that the bar for most faith-based films is so low. Corny acting, bizarre special effects and loads of Biblical misrepresentations almost made us turn this off. If you can survive to the 2nd half, the writing does improve and there are some good underlying messages. Too bad the 'packaging' is so poor. Low budget doesn't have to be brutal! To honour Christ, our films should be nothing less than excellent. As alternatives, try "How to Save a Life" or "Unconditional."
