Dr Dale5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent ResourceOctober 4, 2019Dr DaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 518th Century non-conformist point of view but, if you keep that in mind, it provides insight into yesteryear's bible thought. You can also see the enormous amount of work that was done to accomplish this commentary and revision. This is a great value. The texts are clear and readable and the bindings are good quality. This is an affordable way for the average student to obtain a copy of an entire 6-volume commentary that is over three centuries old.

jeffAsheville, NCAge: 35-44Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Get this set !!!November 12, 2014jeffAsheville, NCAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5price is basically unbeatable. Beautiful set, well bound, easy to read print. You get the KJV text in this set, usually in block of verses and then commentary on it. Once you learn to read it in the format it is in you can: break down the notes per verses quickly, get plenty of lesson or sermon material quickly, references are usually given in notes. I have several commentary sets and use this one alot. Check out the KJV Matthew Henrey Study Bible also.

Pastor MarcKentuckyAge: Over 65Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5In 6 Volumes a treasure of wealthDecember 19, 2013Pastor MarcKentuckyAge: Over 65Gender: MaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As stated in my review of the Single Edition combining all 6 Volumes, the 6 volumes are easier on the eyes. Matthew Henry follows and reports in a Chronology that holds true to Gods word. The 6 Volumes follow the KJV, as compared to the Single Volume that was written in the NIV to fit it all into one cover. It is ideal for the Student or Pastor, and most helpful as an aid in putting your sermons together. With the Matthew Henry 6 Volume set my Theological Library is complete, all for 1 addition left to finish it. That would be The Annals of the World: James Ussher's Classic Survey of the World, Book and CD-ROM.
Through CBD, it's made it so affordable for all my previous purchases, that I've been able to put my library of Theology together in so short a time. -

Steve5 Stars Out Of 5Matthew Henry's CommentaryOctober 23, 2014SteveQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I honestly did not believe the price for this 6 volume set, and expected it to be poorly produced. When it arrived I was delighted to see 6 very well bound volumes. I expected the typography to have been some multiple-reproduced blurred text, but it is very fine typography, that looks like it was set for these volumes; the paper could have been a better grade, but that is pretty much always the case and this stock is fine and for the price it is a remarkable buy. Three of my friends have also purchased this.
Highly recommend this 6 volume classic of Biblical Commentary.
