I've never been into cowboy romances. I am a bit afraid of horses though I admire their beauty. But this book was a lovely exception. The hero is a cowboy and he raises horses and I LOVED this book! I also usually prefer a romance with some mystery or suspense involved but this book did not have either of those elements and yet it was a very engaging book. I quickly felt a real concern and kinship with the characters. Both Kimberly and Chet have suffered a great loss in their marital relationships but Tara throws them together. Are they ready for it? Can they open their hearts and trust again? Read this enchanting book to find out.

I have never been to Idaho but the beauty described by Robin Lee Hatcher makes me want to hop in the van for a road trip. I have never really had the desire to stay on a horse ranch either but this book made me consider the possibility. In fact, I wish I had the money to get started right now. Who is ready to go with me? We can explore the beautiful ranch and maybe even learn to ride horses. I'm sure Chet would teach us. Who is up for riding lessons from a gorgeous cowboy?

I rate this book 5 stars and highly recommend it to readers.

I read the first book in this series so it was a joy to read the second one. I loved the story line, the family values shown in the story, the location and lifestyle. The cowboy needed a second chance for happiness. The turmoil from a burned down barn to the romantic relationship growing between Chet and his lady.

First book in the Kings Meadow contemporary romance series. This is a story about how 2 tragic incidents become as 1 lovable relationship. This book is all about love in more ways then the romantic way, it is love for life, love for family and so much more. So glad this was book 1 of a series can't wait to read more.

I would recommend this book to all my friends that want that great love story read. Great book as a gift for Christmas. Just open it up and sit all day on the couch reading a great story of love.

I had such a good time reading this book. I enjoyed it from start to finish and felt very connected to the characters and the beautiful setting of Kings Meadow, Idaho.

Both Kimberly Welch and Chet Leonard have known heartbreaking loss in their lives. Both have lost loved ones and are working through the hurt in their own ways. Kimberly is also trying to get back on her feet financially and worries about how her teenage daughter is handling the trials they have both endured.

I enjoyed reading about the way Kimberly grew throughout this story. From her realization that she had begun to live a relatively shallow life that was dominated by luxury before her husband passed, to the way she started to understand as time passed, that she needed to give all of her hurts and questions over to God and trust in Him to provide the answers.

Chet grew throughout the story as well. His faith was strong and he relied on God to get him through the days, but he worried about the possibility of starting a new relationship and if it was worth the potential for heartache. Learning to give those fears to God was an important step in his life.

The beautiful setting of Kings Meadow and Chets horse farm made for such nice reading. I felt like I was there, in the midst of the beautiful mountains and majestic horses. Absolutely lovely!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher, through Litfuse Publicity, in exchange for an honest review, which I have given.

This book is one of a kind!! It intertwines two wonderful romances, one in the past and one in the future. Robin weaves them together in such a way to create a beautiful story. The two main characters, Chet and Kimberley have NO intention of falling in love and in fact, fight this feeling every step of the way. The everyday challenges and joys experience by all of us are addressed in such a matter that you become part of the drama as it plays out. Two separate families, each with their own unique set of problems, present obstacles to any romance that can possible develop. The characters are realistic and so well developed, that at times I would become so immersed in the story that I worried and fretted alongside them. Nana Anna became a beloved friend, one from whom I wished I could get some advice for myself. She is such a kind, warm soul that you at once have confidence in her ability to seek God's direction and impart her special knowledge.

The pace of the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. It was fast moving and full of action and deep feelings, with intertwining twists and turns at every corner. This book kept me reading long into the night!!

The message is very clearly set out and evident throughout the book. God gives us second chances! There is redemption possible for all who will take them. We have to be open to God's plans, even though they often seem to differ from our's.

This book is a masterpiece!! I can hardly wait for Book two in this series, "A

    King's River Romance".

    Definitely a five star book!!
