Living Life Undaunted by Christine Caine has quickly become my new favorite devotional. It contains 365 readings to challenge us to help change the world. She is an incredibly powerful speaker and has a great writing style -- simple, but direct. I love opening this up with my Bible each morning to see what Caine has in store for me to chew on.

Living Life Undaunted is a 365 day devotional that talks on a variety of topics. I've read on being selfless, falling in love with the Lord, being a servant, seeking God, and many other things and each devotion is such a fresh and inspiring word for the day.
I prefer to read this devotional before I dig into God's Word because I find it helps me go in with a more reflective mindset and kind of prepares my heart like singing worship songs before a message... it just kind of sets the tone. I would definitely recommend using it that way or you could use it as your night-time devotional to read before bed. Do what works for you and brings you closer to the Lord.
If you've been looking for a devotional that won't take you 30 minutes, but won't leave you in 30 minutes either then I would highly recommend this one!
*Note: I received a complimentary copy of this devotional for the exchange of a review.

The devotions start with a bible verse that is followed by a story that connects to it. Some of the stories are personal ones from Caine's life and some are reflections on the verse. This would be a nice gift for a graduate or anyone who enjoys daily devotions.
I love books with daily readings. In my life with seven kids, I am always looking for ways that I can read and grow, and daily readings allow me to do that. Living Life Undaunted is a great way to start my day and focus on what is important to me. The book is divided up into four parts: Broken, Loved, Empowered, and Commissioned, one for each quarter. Each month also has a theme such as Healing is a Process or Following in Love. Caine has written a variety of stories and connections to draw you in each day. I would highly recommend Living Life Undaunted.
DavidsMomLouisianaAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A great daily reading!March 24, 2014DavidsMomLouisianaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5After reading Christine Caine's Living Life Undaunted, I was happy to see the devotional come out. I like how there is a certain reading for each day that has the date! That way you really don't have to worry about a bookmark. It starts out with a verse, then there is a devotional, reflection, or some story that goes with the verse that challenges your daily life or is just simple thought to carry you through your day. At the end of each day is a Moment of Reflection on which she asks you a question. It is a great way to keep your mind on living that day with a great thought or challenge. I personally love in her Introduction when she says, "I believe one year of healthy daily thoughts can reap a great spiritual harvest in our lives." Her writings are great for everyone but are really good for those that have lived with abuse and hurt. She has that past and shows how she has overcome. There are stories from her book, but she had added a little more for the daily readings. If you ever have the opportunity to hear Christine speak in person, you should! She is truly a great speaker and woman of God!
I have the paperback form of the book. I sort of wish it was sized like most books. It is a short thick book, but for a daily reading book some might like that. It keeps most of the one day per page. This will be one of those books that I keep in my daily readings. I received this book from the booklook blogger reading program and Zondervan in return for my honest review. Thank you!

Divided into 4 sections (Broken, Loved, Empowered, Commissioned) this devotional is designed to help the reader move closer to God's personal calling on their life a little bit each day, by slowing focusing on wounds, then accepting Christ's love, then living a life empowered by Christ and finally going and doing.
Caine speaks of things she has personally learned, things God has inspired her to say, and most importantly scripture. I think this would be a great devotional for someone of any age, it's bite size readings are hearty and thought provoking, but not overwhelming. Each day also is ended with questions designed to lead the reader into a time of reflection and prayer.
