My older son has been using this math program for years now and loves it. The repitition is nice because concepts are repeated often which strengthens learning and recalling. My 1st grader started this 2nd grade pack after becoming bored with basic comcepts from other books. He is thriving and wants to move quickly to get to the next 'level'.

After looking at several different curriculum choices, we made the choice to go with LifePac Math for our son this year. Though we haven't officially started school, I have looked through the materials and started planning out lessons. The only thing I didn't realize when placing the order was the necessity for the Teacher Manual in order to complete some tasks required in the workbooks. Having taught in the classroom setting, and getting little use out of the Teacher's Manual from a different curriculum, I chose not to order the Teacher's Manual. As I was making lesson plans, I noticed parts of the workbook that required information from the Teacher's Manual and, so, we had to order that separately.
